Everything fans want: the USA produce wine from “Game of Thrones” and butterbeer from “Harry Potter”

Wise Tyrion Lannister from “Game of Thrones” has said that everything’s better with some wine in the belly. Fans of the television series will soon have the opportunity to feel it themselves: HBO jointly with Vintage Wine Estates produce branded wine from “Game of Thrones”. It will appear in American stores in spring, 2017 – right when season 7 of the cult TV series starts.
According to HBO press release, customers will be offered three types of wine: Chardonnay ($20), red wine ($20) and Cabernet Sauvignon ($40). As you can see, the list doesn’t contain Tyrion Lannister’s favorite wine - Arbor Gold. But, perhaps, it will be next large step of the company.
While “Game of Thrones” fans experience expectation suffering, Harry Potter admirers have reason to get excited right now. In November Universal Studios in Los Angeles have started selling butterbeer - fantasy heroes’ favorite drink. It is sold in two variants: cold and hot. Film studio’s announcement says that the drink tastes like “shortbread cookies and toffies served with whipped cream”.
